Im back in a Toyota and couldnt be happier. After a rollercoaster realationship with my 2013 F-250 6.7 diesel. I loved my Ford and tried to work things out the best I could with her. But at the end of the day we came to a fork in the road and decided to go our seperate ways. I had a 2008 Tacoma for 8 years prior to my new Tundra and have never enjoyed a vehicle more. I am hoping this Tundra treats me with the same kindness that my Tacoma did. I already have a BDS 7" Fox Coilover on its way with General Grabber X3 35x12.50r18 as well. Still debating on the wheels, havnt nailed down the offset I think will work best. Everyone seems to be running different ones on here.

Gas mileage I did alright. 13.5 city/17.5 hwy. I could of bumped it up into the 20's if I deleted all the epa bull****. I couldnt afford to though cause I needed the warranty because I was in the shop every other month getting stuff replaced.

What kind of problems? I just traded my 13 6.7 in yesterday with 76k miles on it. I had no problems with it.

Haha where to start? Output shaft seal, Def sensor, exhaust sensor, crank sensor, washer fluid nozzles, weather stripping started falling off, climate controls, bluetooth sync, and radiator. Only had 47k miles on it when I let her go. The radiator was the final straw. They wouldnt cover it under warranty even though its been a known issue that the coolant will start to leak where the plastic is crimped to the metal. Leak is because of a faulty bypass valve that spikes the pressure. Been a known issue for all diesels from 08-16.

I've come very very close to buying a domestic diesel a few times (latest L5P GMC), but in the end I could never pull the trigger. I've been spoiled by Toyota reliability and resale. All the EPA nonsense is just too much of a turn off as well as all the extra maintenance required when I don't NEED a Diesel. I do love them however.

I've been a Toyota only person for over 20 years, and just picked up a 2017 Tundra yesterday. It's amazing how solid it feels.
    Congrats on the new Tundra!

Thanks The Tundra is great and doesnt disappoint just like my Tacoma. Yea the epa has done a great job of messing up these newer diesels. More maintenance, more expensive parts, and worse gas mileage. Unless you really need the towing ability of the diesels Ive advised people to stay away.

    Too many to list
I always had German Diesels Mercedes,Volkswagen, BMW loved the efficiency and realibilty of Diesel Engines. One of my Mercedes had 375k miles on it before I sold it and it was still running strong. I always wanted to get Ford F-250 or 350 Diesel but found a sweet deal on Tundra. Lemon law didn't apply on your truck with all those issues?
