Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
I have a picture from one of our trail cameras in western OK, that contains a Mountain lion dragging an 8 Point by the camera.
We knew they were out there, just never see them in person. Nocturnal predators!!!
Evidently the Oklahoma department of wildlife, unofficially, released several hundred, sterile mountain lions in the late 1990s, to help control deer populations.

They are mostly nocturnal, but they are active during the day to. If they released sterile lions in the 90's they are long since past. Maybe they are lying and those cats weren't sterile! Let's see your pics!

You'd be fine with a .40 or 9mm Glock. A Glock 26 or 27 will fit in your pocket. Hollow points. You'd definitely knock a lion down.

Yeah, done a little research. We should be fine with the 9mm with the right ammo. It fits in my pocket and I can get multiple shots off fast. I'm not to worried about them. It's just better to be prepared and aware of the possibility of an encounter.
