    Had the gen rights too long to return them. I’ll toss em back in the parts pile for now. I’ll find a use for em eventually. Those led strips and the setup @Baller is running are the cleanest options I’ve seen. Thanks fellas :thumbsup:

    I’m on call next 2 weeks, so all goes well I’ve have something installed. Some of the places we frequent during the summer are bad for snakes.

    This is how I have it also. No plans to change it. It works exactly how I want it to.

    Decided to bite the bullet and install lights in the mirror. Turned out pretty clean, spacing was off just a touch side to side. I think the step bit walked on me but it’s close. My wife assured me nobody will notice but my Ocd’ness knows it’s there. Sorry about the rotated pictures, no pc to flip em on

    Go for it, I was a little nervous drilling the mirror but it worked out pretty good. Hardest part was picking where to drill. The bottom of these mirrors aren’t 100% flat. I think I’m gonna top it off with a small strip of diode dynamics with @Professional Hand Model placement under the truck to cover my back doors.

    Nice job! I like that you reconsidered your initial job and returned for a Win.

    Having done my side blinkers inside the Mirror Assy I realize how tight it is to fish the wires through. Shoulda done the Puddle Lamps at the same time, but ain’t going back in anytime soon. :D

    @Professional Hand Model appreciate it :thumbsup:

    *output pictures above touched off to drill battery

    got a question for ya fellas. Original plan was to run wiring down the door and tap the courtesy lights in the door. That’s not gonna work for me since those lights don’t come on till the door opens. Best I can tell those lights are in the dome light circuit. Is they’re a way to make those door lights trigger with the keyless entry or due I need to be looking to tie my mirror lights in elsewhere? Suggestions ?

    Perhaps cargo lamp circuit? Mine come on when unlocked.

    I know the cargo lights in the highpoint come on, and some of the interior lights like the center dome do? It's been a while since I used the fob...

    With the door open... Push in the door switch on the center of the cab support with your fingers, and hit the fob button.

    That should make the truck think that the door is shut. Letting you test to see if the door lights come on with the keyfob or not. If they do, it's easy as pie. If they don't... you'll have to to tap into the cargo lights or the interior dome.

    Just a quick test could save you lots of work.

    Here is what we came up with. We placed these on a bar and attached it to the step board. Added a relay switch in the cab.

    @assassin10000 that’s lookin like strong possibility at this point. I was not to have to pull door panels all the way off to get it into the cab lol

    @Tundra2 test reveals door lights don’t come on with the key fob. Just when the doors open. Looks like it I’m gonna have to get in the cab with it. Figures door would’ve been way easy

    @Anna's05Tundra those look good

    [] Finally got around to putting the lights in. I like it. I plan on putting the under hood lights on a switch. And the left over lighting in the box of the truck
