Turd shift saves you all from further disgust, as it's nappy time.

I was about to pull out some wicked, absolutely vile imagery. How far does the rabbit hole go, you ask? :santa2::der:

I used the big orange/white harbor freight ones and supported the truck from the rear tow bar, that is a lower point than the frame at that end. I think they are 6 ton but not sure. It would have been nice if I had taller ones but to cheat it I removed the rear wheels. I used a few blocks of wood and some small stands to rest the axle on between leaf replacements.

I'll have to check them out, Van's are always comfortable.

@onesojourner I have been saying that about men's dress shoes for years. Why the hell are men's dress shoes pointed at the toes? No man should have feet shaped like that, I don't care if people think it looks good. You end up wearing a shoe with an extra inch and a half hanging off your toes for that stupid pointy look.

I haven't looked into Born to Run, is that the video about people running barefoot? My wife was telling me about a documentary like that. I saw a different documentary about people in Kenya running barefoot from town to town simply because they have no shoes and like running. They have better form and are faster as a result.

To be clear, Old Skools have been around since the 70s. Probably should have used the sArCAsm font. :D
Adidas Sambas are also great for driving. They wear a little longer than Vans, but don't breathe as well. (I have warm feet.)

About two months ago when wood was really high, I broke another piece off my bed frame. The center support that keeps the mattress from sagging right where my butt goes.

This was my fix at the time.

    https://youtu.be/EQuL5BEkeCk

One $25 jack was easier, and cheaper than buying $12 90° brackets, and plywood sheet for bed.

Do the Double Cabs have a different alternator than my 02 AC? The 130A Denso alternator we installed Saturday on @jpink truck is showing as not compatible with my year. Found an old PHM post where he references buying a 100A Denso alternator.

I think they are 130 across the board. I think the sequoia is 150. That seems like a good upgrade.

My truck has the 130A alternator as part of the factory tow package. I think the DCs without it came with 100A alternators.

I plan to put in a 150A Sequoia alternator eventually as I understand it'll just be plug and play.

    See this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/04-sequoia’s-150-amp-alternator-swap-on-a-00-tundra-the-3-big-upgrades.67222/#post-1749631

plugs look identical. Back of the squaw is more rounded. But not enough to matter.

Correct, the Towing Package Option gives one the 130 amp. According to McGeorge the 100amp is on the Base, SR5 and Limited if no tow package !

You probably need to upgrade your cables too. 50 amps of alternator is > than 100 amps of solar.

Forget all this nerd stuff about electric.

Look what I pulled out of the basement at work today. Drank a lot of that carbonated shenanigans in my younger days.

Why does everyone make it sound like a huge deal to check 5 speed transmission fluid levels? All I have to do is pull the over flow plug when the pan temp is 115?
