Keyless entry??

I just purchased a 2006 double cab. Seller had just 1 key?? The silver key?? So I bought a cheap key fob and went threw the programming process?? Door cycled one time. Like it should. But the key fob does not lock or unlock the doors???? Can some help. Thanks.

 

On the back, what is the FCC ID #.....BAB237131- 056 ?
Also, do you know what alarm system is installed....factory or port installed ?

 

Access cab and double cab have two different ways to program. Make sure you are using the correct instructions

You have to find out if you have the RS3200 or RS3000 system on your truck, the FCC ID is on the back of the key fob , Toyota stealership should be able to tell you, tell them you’re trying to buy a remote for your truck and ask for the part number,(I’d call more than one location to make sure they all give you the same part number) google that part number and you should be able to find what FCC Id belongs to that part, make sure they check with your VIN#
