Finally got the emblem back on, though it'll probably require at least a few more touch ups before I feel good about it.

Removing plasti dip is not easy. Also remove my flares. That will be for sale soon.

The plastidip was hard to take care of. Plus I got hit on the left bumper so it was pretty scratched up. Same thing with the flares. It had scratches and just looked super dirty. Flares were also plastidipped.

Thinking about getting everything professionally painted and put back on. What do you think?

The flares definitely paint. Might as well ask them about the bumpers while you're at it but we all know about trying to paint chrome. Maybe powdercoat? I'm thinking about removing the dip on my grille insert and painting. But it's got a bunch of crevices and if your bumpers were hard to remove, I'm in for some pain. I'm done with dipping though.

Same here @joonbug! No more dipping for me. I need to find a local paint shop to do my grill, flares, front bumpers, and rear bumpers. Plus fix that 12" dent from the hit and run a couple months ago.

The '99 Corolla was a great buy ($3,000) many years ago. 18 years old and still averages 35 mpg. Definitely keeps the miles off the Tundra.

I have a 15 silverado COV that acts as daily driver part time. I just have 3 teenagers that are hard to stuff on to one bench seat so if they are all with me then i even have to work out of the Tundra...plus i really like driving it:)
