So I want to put some Baja designs lights in replacement of the stock fog lights for my 06 tundra but nobody makes brackets for them. Are you guys doing anything with the fog lights? thanks!

I recommend a light bar where that slot next to the license plates are. Imperceivable yet such a presence when on.

Can I kinda hijack? Thanks my Gen1 SR5 did not come with fog lights just fillers. The harnesses are there. Are stock ones plug and play or am I missing the switch? I thought it may be activated with running lights, but haven’t metered it. Can’t reach with the bumper on or without a headlamp out. But, the light strip idea sounds better. Same question. Thanks and sorry.

Gotta find the right bar. Not sure if I want a beam or a flood.

That one bar already is basically a spot beam. So probably a flood to even everything up.

Unsure as to help OP though. I use cheap Amazon lights that I water proof myself.

I saw a YouTube video of those lights you got on the hood. I thought about getting them. Aren’t they like $20 or something? I kinda want them :bananadead:

But yeah, check your options and make sure you get the right one. Like you said, it’s be smart to even them out.

You’ll probably need the switch (in your stalk? on your model). @Rex Kramer did his 2002 model with OEM Fogs and a Push Switch years ago.

The 2000-2002 Years have the best Fog Lights with their superior wrap around design incorporation. Put some High Dolla LED’s in there and you’ll be golden (for those out there reading with 2000-2002).

@Jetskiracer99 you’ll need the plastic inserts that came on trucks with no fog lights

once you have those drill you a hole in the back. on top for the bolts to hold em in place and a smaller hole on bottom for the wiring. Once mounted you’ll have to clock the lenses to the right position.

1st gen tundras group on Facebook has a how too but it doesn’t look to terrible. I’ve got a setting in pile of parts lol
