If I get a 6 inch lift done, if I got bilsteins would it raise it another 2 inches, or is that something that's already done in the 6 inch lift??

No it wouldn't, it's just a hell of a lot cheaper then a 6 inch lift. Your struts are what give you your lift in the front. Your coils sit on these struts, but bilistin has adjustable struts, where you can move the platform your coils sit on higher in return lifting the front end of your truck. That what I did with my old Tacoma and plan on doing with my tundra.

So that's used in cases where you don't have a lift kit, like a 6 inch and above

Right, that can get you to about 2.5" lift, if you need like an inch more get a spacer, if you need more then that it's bad on your bearings so you'll need to get a 4" and higher lift kit and that will coast you a lot. It's almost like your own little lift kit, all you need to to is take the stock struts out, taken them and your new ones to a shop, tell them you want that highest they can go, they will put your stock coils on the new struts, install them and there you go, 2.5" lift.

A shop will only charge you like $20 to do that as well. If you just bring them in already off the truck, witch is very easy to do if you have tools.

I would say that's the simplest, cheapest, and probably the best way to go. All that would be left is you getting blocks for the back that match the front. Or if you do a lot of off reading drop shackles.

Yea I've been asking ?'s about shackles too.. I think I'm going with Ready Lift 6 inch lift, it has blocks for back, but I could change those to,shackles ?? Or not? I read that they dint go as high as the blocks?

They don't, I personally hate blocks, especially if you are off road a lot. They can slip and crack you leaf spring (happened to my Tacoma). Solution? Lifted leaf springs paired with drop shackles. That will lift the back at the hight you want and be a hell of a lot safer.

Think of it this way, you wouldn't put a 6" block of wood between your feed and a pair of ski's and then just tie them on would you? So why would you do that with your truck going 75 mph down a highway? One sharp turn or pot hole could cause them to fail.
