+18 will more than likely rub

You might be able to tweak the alignment for DD, but itll likely rub regardless offroad.

While I'm not opposed to lifts (former Jeeper of 20 yrs), I'll answer 1 of the 2 concretely. Expect ball joint issues, decreased fuel mileage, increased brake wear, and possible "boot" wear due to drive line angle. I'll admit the TRD is 2 and Toyota gave it the nod so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Might never see an issue, then again... Eh. Enjoy it. I'm sure it will look nice and we welcome seeing pics. I'm stock tow package 4wd on BFGs at stock size, but my buddy has a 13 and did the same. Looks great. He did get warranty work on replacement BJs :kona:

Thanks for the info it looks like I will be going with 33 12.5 r20 gladiator x comps and the vision rockers 20x9 +18 offset. I hope it will not rub, I can live without the flaps and possibly moving the inner finder lining in. I just don't want to fuck with the technical stuff.

Quit getting your britches in a bunch and slamming that keyboard sunny.

    Backspacing and offset. Includes calculators.

You posted a title others with a same issue couldn't search for. You also posted in the wrong area. Big deal? Nope, world will go round and round regardless. But this site is a good DATABASE for folks and a little effort on your part and civility, will continue to provide a good resource for ALL.

    Relax bruh and welcome

It's my first time posting a thread, normally I do exactly like you said and look up stuff. But I just needed more direct responses to help me pull the $2k trigger on this.

    Welcome to the forum, OP!

The thing that worries me is your tire width (12.5”) and offset +18mm.

I’m running 35s on a 2” lift on stock wheels which have a +60mm offset, but my tires are skinnier at 11.26” wide. They’re actually 285/75R18s. They fit great. All I had to do was remove the little mud flap in front of the front wheel.

Have you considered 285/65R20? It’s just a skinnier 35. It might not quite have the look you’re going for, but it will be lighter, you’ll have less loss of power off the line, and it will likely have far less fitment issues.

If you do 35x12.5 on a 9” wide 20 with +18mm offset, I think you should expect lots of trimming, removing mudflaps, etc. You might not need to chop the cab mount with that offset though.

Search the forum for front bumper spacers...someone makes a kit that pushes your front bumper forward half an inch. That makes a load of difference for guys running normal 35s.

So 33x12.5 r20 with the offset +18 should be alright then?

Glad everything worked out. I have close to the same setup just +20 offset and I rub in reverse full turn. I just used a heat gun on the inner fenderwell and pounding it with a rubber hammer a bit to shape it and I have no more rub.
