It doesn't matter who makes it. All manufacturers use a certain brand of hyrdos and motors, those are the most important pieces. It looks like a cub cadet, and the higher end cubs are great machines. And, my brushless dewalt tools have been great, batteries as well.

While the specs are decent and the Kawi motor is a good motor, the hydraulics and deck could use some help.
For a little more you could bump up to a commercial line Exmark, Gravely or Scag and be set.

Probably sooner than you think. Electric mowers, zero turns and riders are on the up tick. Theres several good options out now that give several hours of run time. What I like most about them is there are no belts. Even the deck has no belts, each blade has its own motor.

I've had mine for 3 years of pretty heavy use and have never had one fail. I had two Bosch batteries fail, one out of the package and one about 6 months old. Sometimes, things happen.

Will 35's fit without rubbing? Would I have to re-gear? Also loud popping noise after start up, what's that about? Also like to put craptor lights in front, also which oil and filter should I use?

I have a wall of Dewalt products but I bought 2 Bosch drill drivers around 99 or 2000. Use them for work when I'm in the field and they are the first drill I reach for small around the house projects. One was lost for over a year. I found it in the shrubs where I dropped it working on the gutters during a storm. They are still going strong on the original batteries. Not sure what the quality is like now, but these were a great purchase.

So True! My DeWalt tools have been awesome. However why they refuse to make a lithium ion battery that's equal to other brands is a mystery.

I like my Dewalt brushless tools but I have to agree with this. My Makita battery lasts 3 or 4 times as long doing the same work.
