I have a 2006, son has been driving it. I used it earlier this week and noticed that the 4wd dial was set in 4hi....and the truck was still in 2wd. Tried changing settings and it feels like the dial is not working properly?

Looks like there is a problem with the dial being broken. It will not push in and turn to engage 4wd hi or low. I can turn it straight to 4wd high, no pushing in, but it does nothing to change the drive system.

Seen this issue? It is just the dial assembly that is likely broken? We had snow a month ago, so I am guessing he just turned the dial and forced it, rather than pushing in and turning so maybe stripped something inside of it.
