Thats right. You know you want more torque and tow capacity from your Taco. Well, the answer is here in the 1st Gen Tundra with its Legendary V8 4.7L.

You’ll get way more ummpfffh that your under powered Taco can’t provide even with all those work around mods you’ve been trying. You’ll get it in a similar sized truck with way more interior room and for the time being may be able to get one while the getting is good. You see they are getting harder to find in good condition. Prices are reflecting upward especially if you can score on a Pristine Granpa Model like those found on BaT.

Other former Tacomaworld.com guys are wising up and seeing what they’ve been missing in the 1st Gen Tundra. You can read for yourself what others say. You’ll be secretly nodding in agreement knowing you’ll be able to fully handle that RTT on your new 1st Gen with extra capacity to spare!

Arguably the best 1/2 ton truck ever made. . . certainly the most reliable/ dependable.

Yes it is. My 2002 has never left me stranded in almost 20 years and 175k miles.

I tearfully traded in a 94' 80series TLC for my Tundra. Took me a little while to adjust.

The 80series was all grunt and no go. But damned if the thing wouldn't climb trees.

While the tundra is/will be relegated to far less trauma than the TLC, it's behavior is very very close to the Land Cruiser, but with balls.

Currently the best automotive decision I have ever made...so far.
