Is it like an offroad club? Do they do trailrides and stuff? I couldn't find a website but I heard about them the other day. I've only lived in utah a couple years now and haven't really found a group to plug in with.

It's just a facebook group, they have a big toyota show/event every year. People post up parts or if they're stuck or advice or if they're running trails. It's not strictly a wheeling page, and there's a lot of people on it too. It's not really a formal group, and the only formal thing they do is the UTOR gathering or whatever where they have raffles and vendors and vote on trucks and stuff.

I wouldn't call it a wheeler by any stretch, but compared to most people it's seen a lot of dirt. It's been all over the sand dunes and beach at Sand Hollow, chased the Baja 1000, chased King of the Hammers, been down snowy trails, etc. It's not my wheeling choice, but I have it set up and enough know how to keep up and get around if the situation and desire presents itself. The female has a 4th gen 4runner that's the go to for camping and more light duty trails, and then for harder stuff we have a Can Am X3 and currently finishing up a buggy build when I want to get real gnarly. The Tundra is kind of bottom of the pack when it comes to off-road in our family, but everything we own plays in the dirt and have something for mild to wild :D

Are you near SLC? That's where most of the UTOR people are. I was pretty heavily involved with them and then got rid of facebook. The core group on that page I hang out with and talk to fairly regularly. I built the long travel for one of them, cut some parts and sold the shocks for the SAS that the owner did on his 4runner, etc. They mostly do overlandy type stuff (like what a stock - mildly built vehicle could do) and there's quite a few people with tundras.

Yes I'm out in tooele valley area. I do the mild stuff too. Used to do the hard-core stuff on dirtbikes but sold the bikes a few years ago. I hate calling it "overlanding" because I'm not a Patagonia catalog instagram yuppie but *sigh* that's pretty much what I do lol I don't have social media though. I try to remember to take pics and video but I mainly just enjoy being in the middle of nowhere with my dog

I got rid of facebook entirely and rarely get on instagram but took that off my phone. UTOR is essentially only on facebook which sucks, I like forums a lot more.
