Looks great. I always wondered, what makes the prawns and not shrimp?

I wish I could say I prepared them to perfection, but all that is required is enough heat for them to crack open. I like raw better, but only if someone else shucks them. Next is a couple of dozen smoked, the rest will get frozen in their own brine for stew. I will eat a few while shucking them.

There is a Asian store where I can get "arsters" that are flown in from the east coast, although I prefer the larger cold water oysters from Washington. Love them raw or grilled. Your oysters look great! Dang!

Made some chopped steaks tonight with some Vermont Cheddar on them. I found some Prime Sirloin on sale at the grocery so I ground that up. Just a light dusting of Kosmo's Cow Cover and SPG. Had a little sautéed onions over them. Made a side of mashed taters and cole slaw. I grilled off a large tri tip to shave for some sandwiches tomorrow and to try some tonight! Everything was really really good!DB6EF6F7-C75E-460D-9A32-C9543E485B69.jpg

Been at it since 9:30am.... Grocery store, food prep, smoking chicken for lunches, clean up, food prep some more, wash dishes, pull chicken and shred, wash dishes again, prep for fajitas tonight, cook fajitas, clean dishes again, put away and clean 3 grills........ Just now sat down for first time today at 9:15 but it is worth it!

Fajita night turned out am amazing. By far my wife and daughters favorite meal.

Did some simple food prep for a few hours Thursday. After heavy thunderstorms it was 75 and sunny so got my daughter to play outside while I grilled some marinated chicken I got really cheap at Lidl and roasted a huge batch of red potatoes I got at Aldi (triple grocery run because I got beer at Ingles because their selection and price is better and on the way home).
I’ve been feeding her way too much processed foods and it was so gratifying to see her eat that simple grilled chicken with gusto. I used my Weber gas grill on medium and a temp probe to make sure I got it right. She ate all of her grilled chicken at daycare on Friday and I’ve been eating grilled chicken (thighs and breasts) for 3 days straight at work and plan to tomorrow too. Tastes great and so happy to know I fed her something good she liked that was less processed. I’m in the middle of a divorce and the grill really saved me that day. I felt like I was doing something right and my little gal agreed by eating all of her healthy food!
I also ran 5 hilly K while she was at daycare besides all the food prep, so damn I’m still proud of that dad day.
