I have the low profile rough country and no, it doesn't flip all the way up against the glass. . Just the back two sections. . .have to take completely off if you need the whole bed but takes literally only a couple minutes. .

Do you know which brand it is?

Edit: Nvmd, I see the link in your earlier post.

I bought from Amazon under "auto dynasty tonneau cover". I just checked and it is still $373 with free shipping. Mine is a 2020 CM 5.5 ft bed. It is a hard tonneau trifold cover and my initial water proof test showed no leakage.

Lots of great responses. Thank you. Question on the MX4....can you open from each end (cab or tailgate)? I would like to get a bakbox if I went this direction but having to open the entire cover to get to the box could be a drawback.

    Thanks in advance.

No. Only opens from tailgate. You have to fold it up to get to the bakbox.

Look at the swing case. It attaches near tailgate and rotates over the tire hump.

Are you saying Lomax folds both directions?

The Diamondback covers fold both ways to my understanding. Not sure if they fold up out of the way though.

    Lots of shenanigans.
I have one from the previous owner and it's not my style. I plan on putting a decked system on it and will sell the bed cover after that. I think that they look tacky, but they do keep things dry. I just dont think that they're that secure since someone can whip out their pocket knife and cut into it if they want to.

I recommend the Truxedo Pro x15. Very durable canvas material, rolls up compact, lightweight, and very low profile.

    None
On my 2014 Tundra crew-cab I chose the GATOR EFX. I found it through Gator in December '20 and purchased. Through the years I have bought re-tractable models but chose this less expensive model. I store some items in the bed, can carry my Kayak (n stuff), so works for me. Seems pretty water resistant after use of a drive thru car wash. easily removed from bed by releasing four wing-nuts.

<<Customized my drain tubes with lawn sprinkler parts..
i should have put them in the upper half of the plug instead of the bottom>>

You can just remove the grommets and flip them where the holes will be at the top of the grommets.

OP, I have a new OEM take off Tundra tonneau cover available if you are still shopping. I have it listed on other websites but need 49 more posts to list it here I guess. I'm not real familiar with this internet stuff, hopefully it is not a problem that I mentioned it.

Thanks for reaching out. I did purchase one about 2 weeks ago. Ended up with the MX4 and bakbox. Very happy with it. Also, if folks are curious the bakbox will work on other folding covers. My buddy has a different cover with the exact same rails.

Thanks Cody. I bought one Feb 12th. We’re too far from each other anyways.
