What's cooking for the game tomorrow?
For food, we're getting Cuban sandwiches and empanadas from a local Cuban restaurant. And making Kansas City Smokehouse baked beans.
For beer we've got Florida Cracker from Cigar City brewing in Tampa and Tank 7 from Boulevard in KC. I've had Cigar City in Tampa, but can't remember which ones. The Tank 7 is making a return appearance this year. It's an excellent saison that we buy occasionally through the year.

 

I'm not even watching the game and I live in Tampa. I may fire up the grill for dinner though.

 

Due to the politicized nature of pro sports and the performers (not players), I have not watched a single game and don’t plan to.

 

Sounds great OP! Unfortunately most of the replies will probably be people telling you they aren’t watching the game. They really love telling people that.

We are mostly doing appetizers. Wings, homemade guacamole, Buffalo chicken dip, meat & cheese tray along with some pizza. Might make some Moscow Mules too. It’s gonna be a good one!

Sure. Probably as much as you really love taking digs at folks who hold a different opinion than you.

 

I can’t speak for anyone else but I don’t “really love” telling people this. In fact I hate it. The entire process seems dirty to me and I don’t reflect on it very often.

 

I will watch the commercials, maybe they will show the new Tundra with the Supercharged or Twin turbo V8.

This. We have a newish Cuban restaurant near here that makes the best one not in Tampa.

 

I don't follow the NFL but my mom usually makes chili for Grey Cup Sunday because she can get it going in the slow cooker before the game and it's nice when it's cold (which it always is).

I will be cooking a couple t bones. Watching at my dad's on a 65" 4k tv. Will have chips and 7 layer dip for appetizers.

 

Doing a taco bar with some pulled pork I did last night and some game day apps. Usually some local beers, bourbon and tequila. People usually start showing up around 2-3 and start pregame drinking.

 

Have the flank steak marinating in some beer, lime juice, orange juice, cilantro, garlic and other stuff for some tacos..

Some mozzarella sticks along with Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese wrapped in bacon.

Homeade lime crema, no pic of the pico de gallo.

Flourless chocolate cake just need to make the ganache for it. This cake literally melts in your mouth.

 

Recipe for the cake?
