That may be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it. You already loose torque with the TRD system. It’ll probably flow more but you probably loose more torque over a stock trd system.

Thank you for your thoughts Rubberdown. From what I have read, the rules change for this when the 5.7 has long tube headers. I have Doug Thorley LT's (in my signature, I should add that to the original post).

Thorley's, have a very long, single, 2.5 collector that can be cut to put all 4 cats in the original position, which I want to do.

Here is a great tech article by DD about the gains of Thorley/OBX headers. Less than the ideal JBA's & dual Dirtydeeds race system, but still a huge jump over stock.

    https://www.tundratalk.net/threads/...h-off-road-mid-pipes-and-x-pipe-40-hp.136961/

I believe he went from a single DD cat-back (off road mid-pipes), to one of his DT/OBX LT's and one of his TRD replacement systems.

I will attach his dyno gains.

Give Keith Carty from Dirty Deeds Industries a call with any questions. He knows these trucks inside and out, had ran dyno on every scenario possible to determine what works best.
