Likewise. It made my Tacoma a beast in the snow. Even for how lite the truck was.

Thanks, I painted it myself. save a little $$ and touch up would be easy if needed down the line.

I paid $225.99/tire from Amazon. 275/70r18 K02s. Free Prime shipping (was about 4 days instead of 2) dealer mounted and balanced for $85 or 90 I think.

Installed some ICI Magnum steps last night/today. Really like em', and more importantly the wife and daughter love the easier access.

A big thanks to @Almaboy - appreciate the great deal and it was good meeting you. Looking forward to some boat time with you and all our kids.

For those that are going to install. Not hard, but a PITA at the same time. If you have access to a lift - it would be waaaay simpler than laying on your back on a garage floor. Definitely hang everything before tightening down. I did that - then took a floor jack with a 2 x 4, jacked everything into place good and snug - then tightened everything down.

They look GREAT on your truck. I'm glad they went to a good home.

I can't wait to get on the water. DEFINITELY looking forward to that. And likewise, it was good meeting you as well.

Today's mod provided by Mother Nature. Just got started and she's already spit a couple inches out. Winter weather advisory through Wednesday.

I've bought some cheap ones from Amazon (listed in my build thread). Some have bought from vleds.com and some from superbrightleds.com

There's about a 100 threads on this. Lol
Jdm astar gives you a 10 pack on Amazon for about $10. It will do the maps, dome, license plate (and mirror/puddle I think) and give a few leftovers.
I did jdm astar reverse lights for about $20 also from amazon.
I'll be doing individual bulbs from vleds.com for the footwell (2x $2 ea) and vanity lights (4 x $2) next.
Also want to do a mattgecko bed rail light mod
Looking at adding Phillips ultinon head lamp and fog replacement LEDs. But undecided still.

Check the "lighting" forum and there's a stickied thread that lists all the bulb numbers to make sure you get the right size LED replacement for your model year.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I figured if I could find a lower price as quick as I did they didn't want to get rid of them that badly yet!

Put these on last night. This legit may be the best mod i've ever done on any vehicle. No joke. My wife wouldn't drive the truck at night, and everytime i'd get in I'd complain about the headlights. We've been spoiled as she drives an MDX and the lights are amazing, but every car we've had the last few years has had HID's....

I'm now trying to figure out how to do something like this for the '55!

7" round headlights on that old Chevy? If so there are a ton of options for projectors that are direct-fit replacements.. My new acquisition also uses a 7" round headlight. They are so common in older cars that aftermarket projectors are very affordable.

Nice car family you have there!

Use a Trucklite 7" LED. I used that on my Harley, and it's super bright. Napa was selling them for about 150 each or so.

If you count the bulbs 4 times possibly.

No, it means that I can't listen to traditional radio and I'll have flickering lights soon!!
