Can't argue that the Delica is hard to beat and easy to beat on and carry and maybe the best knife deal for the price out there?
At least for me it is.

Yeah, price is a huge factor that I use daily as a tool. I love knives and will have really cool (expensive) ones some day, but that's not what I'll use for a daily carry...

I had that same knife a few years ago...except I got the non-serrated blade (don't like 'em). Loved it.

Yep, I get that. Carried a swift army knife for decades, then a benchmade for a few years. Now my edc is one of the ones I made (post 373)

Not a pocket knife but probably my favorite. Son had it made for me last year for birthday/Father's day. . .20201203_150554.jpg

FYI Spyderco is having their 'factory seconds' sale now through tomorrow, completely online. I wish you luck though since when they do put up knives they sell out fast and the website crashes. I'm hoping for the Native Chief.

I wonder if there’s any relationship to bladesmith Brad Blount?

I’m just now beginning to etch my initials on my knives.

Love this thread. @gosolo your knives look incredible!

I’ve been carrying this Benchmade 535 Bugout for the last 18 months. It’s perfect for my EDC — the profile, the weight, and the fact that when I sit down with a guitar it doesn’t scratch the guitar’s body.

And my buddy found this NOS Benchmade 5220 Pardue Auto Axis at his LGS. He gave it to me for Christmas. My first Auto!

In case anyone is interested, you can search for Bargain Bin in Blade HQ's website and find some discounted stuff due to blemishes, damaged boxes, etc. Sometimes there are gems.

Usually have two knives on my person -- a folder plus one of these three defensive blades (2 karambit variations and push dagger), carried in a Burnley type tethered waistband method. In the truck is a fixed blade (2nd pic), sheath also tethered with the 550 cord knotted and the knot end wedged between the steering column and dash (as with Burnley = quick retrieval of blade with sheath remaining in place)
