ECGS bushing install complete, with a new CV axle. Something was wrong with the original CVs c-clip. I didn't have any trouble getting the new axle in. I beat the old one like a rented mule with no luck. The familiar growl of the old needle bearing is gone.

For anyone interested, the axle nut and lower ball joint bolts along with the brake caliper & brake line bracket is the only bolts I removed to accomplish the install.

Edited: Oh yeah, I broke the ABS sensor retainer bolt and cracked the thin plastic around it. I attempted to remove the sensor before I realized you didn't have to. I couldnt get it out without fear of breaking it in half. I left it....& crossed my fingers that the dash didn't light up. It didn't. I'd rather be lucky than good any day :p

check out the Bestop power folding steps. Just installed mine yesterday. Very nice and much more affordable than the amp steps.

Made an in-car garage opener. Kinda ghetto, but i managed to do it without making the original remote useless :)
Bonus factor - apparently wires i soldered in work as antena as the range has improved quite a bit :)20201228_221739.jpg

Paracord it with blue or black. Could use a carbon fiber tape, that would look good. Just a suggestion

Climate control knobs in back? Tell me more about this. It looks like you have a double cab, I've been wondering if you could add the climate control from a crew max to a DC.

Looks like ACDC2ZZTop said he's replacing the climate control knobs with black colored ones, not putting climate control into the back of the truck.
