Oh and at the time I bought my Falkens for $178/tire, smoking good deal. The 285s and 295s were $50-$75 more per tire.

Lots of good info, thanks man. I’ll take a look again, 285/70/18 just looks perfect for me. I’ll probably just have discount tire order my top 3 choices and be a pain in their ass having them try them all on like a woman picking out shoes.
Think the ones you mentioned are all MT but I’ll look again.

Yeah unfortunately other than the Nittos, all the other options in that size are mud terrains. You could try 285/75r18, but the price can be a deterrent at that size.

Yeah, that size is definitely 2nd option for me. Maybe something something new will come out in the time it takes to get shocks on and decision made. Hahaha.

Got my 285/70R18 Nitto EXO Grappler AWTs installed today!

Bilstein 6112s up front set at 1.9”
    Bilstein 5160s in the back
Toytec adjustable shackles in the back set at 1.5”

No rubbing so far today driving around town, but it’s a tight fit!

Not that I've spent time looking for it, but I haven't noticed a lean that I feel the need to address with shims.

Ever so slightly more noise up to 45 mph. Not really any more noticeable tire noise at highway speeds compared to 45 mph. More planted feeling in the throttle response due to the heavier tires, but I like that more planted feeling. The stock tires felt a bit squirrelly. Sidewall profile is more square which is felt a bit in turns, but these are brand new with 40 miles on them and that edge may round some with use. We’ll see how I feel about them over time.

Most importantly, truck looks better with them AND has much better traction and load rating!

Truck looks great! You don't happen to have fender to hub measurements after the lift by chance? I'm torn between the ~1" and ~2" setting with a CB+2 out back and I'm leaning toward the same size tire you're running in your set up.

If you’re running 6112s up front, the general consensus I have found on the forum is that 1.9” gives the best ride quality.

I don’t have measurements at the moment, but can try to get them later tonight.

Looks like you have a tiny bit of rake. Have you measured? I have a topper and well and debating the +2/+3

i hoped to have a slight rake for the TSS after putting the topper on. I also tow a large pop up a large handful of times each year. I went with +3.

Par k on level flat ground, Center of hub to fender. Check all four corners and compare.

In this scenario the front tire is the limiting factor. The rear has more clearance and does not steer. I measured front left and front right to get an average for my post above.

The clearance to the front fenders with the small mud flaps is tight when steering.

I figure I can always remove the small mud flaps in front of the front tires if I see any signs of rubbing. Those flaps are fairly thick, so removal will give at least another 1/4-1/2” of clearance. I also currently do not have any shims on either driver or passenger side, so I could add some CB shims to bring both sides up a bit if needed.

So far no rubbing issues, but I will continue to keep my eyes/ears peeled.
