Finally got around to installing the Limited gauge cluster I got to replace my SR5 cluster. I love it, it looks great. :D

Took me awhile to find the little clips holding the fabric around the steering column onto the cluster bezel. That piece didnt make it back on when I reinstalled. I couldn't get my booger hooks back in there.

I also disabled the TPMS light that has been on for almost 6 months now.

The only thing that I don't like about mine is that I can't turn down the brightness enough, I like it dim. One neat thing now though is that if you also have the info buttons on the right side of the dash, you can change some other lighting settings that would normally require Techstream to change. I'm sure that you can figure them out once you get to poking around a little.

    Which settings?

I dont have those buttons. I read a while back about it. Sounded like they give you mpg and range data. Wasnt worth the $125 to me.

I don't have a complete recollection, but settings like how long the map lights remain on after unlock, how long they stay on after you turn the engine off. I'll try to refresh my memory the next time I need to go somewhere.

Settled in to the new house. Baby due on January 2nd. Snuck in a little work on the yumdra lol. Took off the Aries bull bar, switched over some bulbs back to halogen from the LEDs I got from Amazon. From this YouTube video https://youtu.be/1ruTyuD68fc cheaper LEDs don’t penetrate like halogen. I live in the California foothills. Back to halogen is way better! Ordered yellow film tint that I’m going to put on the ditch light lenses next.

I added a steering wheel spinner... the goat is a tractor now after all.

    AE057D50-4411-4273-AF1C-AE66E0DE6AA5.jpg

But honestly, the next best upgrade since the plow. If you have a plow, you need a wheel spinner too.

Oh, the goat also shedded its rack. Need to make some mods to the rack. I also plan on building a rear spare tire mount. I will fab a frame-to-bed mount bracket that runs to each bed/frame bolt at the rear of the bed floor. I’ll weld a nut to receive the spare wheel retainer key in the center on the bracket and call it a day.
Overall, I hope to gain some rear weight ballast for plowing and winter driving.

I drilled some holes in my roof yesterday.. Installed m4 nutserts for a factoryish install of these amber leds. Started wiring, I got 12 wires pulled from under dash (enough tail to clear firewall and make the relay box) up to the newly added overhead console switch panel. More to come as the wiring continues.
Ps: I used the right stuff again in this job, I ran a bead around the bottom edges and also the screw heads.

Wife said she needed to drop the truck off at the local shop:confused:. When we went to pick it up the next day she had new airlift suspension in the rear. Merry Christmas too me:santa::santa2:9570082B-C15C-466F-B89F-F2F126C583F7.jpg

So put on the Winter tires and gave her a well deserved bath to clean off the road grime. Wife says one more add on coming so will post pics after it is installed .
