I got almost done with installing the DD 8” but decided I’d better buy new bolts before finishing I snapped the one on the clamp and was shearing the heads on the others. Hopefully they’re in stock at the local dealership tomorrow.

Hard to tell from that image but the light bars do seem higher / closer to the horns than when I did mine.

Finished up the on-board compressor. Ran the air line to the rear bumper so I don’t have an air line hanging out from the hood when I air up. Pressure switch keeps the compressor running only when air is needed. Pop the hood for cooling the compressor, hit the switch, attach the line to the bumper and air up. Done. Decided against the in-cab switch, since I gotta pop the hood anyway. This Smittybilt 2781 compressor fills up the tires so fast. Highly recommended!!A3C00650-BBEB-4063-8782-740DF477569C.jpg 40B05469-35D3-4E86-9C3F-0DE856360306.jpg 8F77A9B6-5F9D-4153-8328-9493C4D70A89.jpg

Test fitted my new roof rack system. Will be the first truck in USA with it. Excited.

Waiting on new RadarMount for the Escort and wiring kit to mount from rearview mirror tomorrow and my center console divider.

Installed BedRug today. Took a bit longer than I planned with the rail system, but I thought it looked pretty good once done.

No. Mine required extensions to be added to fit in the space. Have the same brackets you’re showing.

    The work is done.
    5.5 hours sanding (by myself)
    .5 primer, adhesion, degreasing
1 hour masking and covering truck
    .5 spraying liner
    Total material cost 160$
    Line-X quoted me 750$

I would recommend the product. Just make sure you prep your bed. Only time consuming part. Using a grinding wheel, and wire brush and go to town on it. The rougher the better.

Nothing to crazy, but happy with the small addition of blue!
Pardon the dirty wheels. Lot of driving lately and haven't given it a wash in awhile.

    Edit: these are ColorLugs

Head unit worth it? Opted out of buying this one since I can stream XM via Bluetooth on my phone.

Idk I ran out of time today so just wanted to have music. Will mess with everything more tomorow but it seems like it works great and worth it. It’s a Kenwood dmx1037s. Sirius radio was a must for me. Wireless CarPlay is nice also. I had the Tesla unit for about 2 weeks and sold it. This is night and day from that. And also I think it looks great

After I put it on though, my tonneau cover wouldn't latch because the rails end really close to the inside of tailgate. So I took it off to either sell it or wait til I get a GFC, then put it back on.

that looks slick, but what is the purpose out of curiosity? Will it act as a table and what not for you while camping?

Well, with a military discount I got four wheels and lugs for less than what just the wheels would have cost from SCS after shipping. Their asking price was $285 for the Ray 10s, not sure on the SR8s. I think they're $265 at SCS, plus shipping.
$1190 OTD with lugs, I couldn't say no!

Yep, you're exactly right! In an attempt to not be too impulsive, we checked what they had in stock and then I told them I was going to look at pics on the internet and then decide what model and color I wanted. My son and I started Googling on our phones as we were walking out to the parking lot, then sat in the truck for about 5 minutes looking at the different colors and styles on a SSM crewmax.
I shut the truck off and went right back in and got 'em!
Didn't even make it out of the parking lot, but at least it wasn't an impulse buy, haha!

Getting new tires mounted up on Wednesday, Cooper AT3 XLTs in 275/70/18.
Still debating on suspension but should have that sorted in a few weeks.

Have you thought about painting the center "T" on the center cap blue?

I did MGM, but I also had the rims powdered coated MGM and left the center cap black.
