Just bought a 2021 SR5 - appears to have 4 stake pockets, but covered over with plastic on top of body rail. Do I have to cut outs in the plastic or does it pop off it pried?

Thanks, but there are no lines to indicate where to cut - any suggestions on how to accurately locate where to cut ?

Pop the rail covers off, mark and cut. I did it a few weeks ago. It's not that hard.

Stand outside the bed, just aft of the cab and squeeze the rail cover, gently work your fingers under the inner side and roll towards you, then work down the rail. The last "plug" closest to the tailgate was a bit snug, but I got both sides off and back on again with no breakage.

For those just looking for a quick and dirty roughly right location to drill a starter hole, on my 2020 CM the center of the stake pocket holes line up with the inside tie down rail end clip edges. Like this:

I'm going to use this to finish the hole for my adarac rails, because it's an excuse to play with my router.

    wow 4 year bump.
after you drill a hole just use a heavier duty exacto knife for a clean cut.
