Beadlocks! All you need is 4 on the truck, one Method spare, and a spare rubber to change at camp.

I wish I could afford F1s right now. My partner would kill me. We're still renting, and she's irritated by the landlords.

    omg... That's what's up.

Did you mount the tires yourself? Were the F1s compatible with the tpms?

No, yes, and sorta. Took 'em to my tire shop but they were scared, not w/o good reason, and called me to come back down. I ended up doing it myself with some guidance from OMF. Their customer service is probably the best I've encountered anywhere, ever!
I got some cheap ass sensors from Ebay. They're garbage!!! They mounted up fine but I couldn't air up w/o removing the core. So, I had to pull them all apart and put standard stems in 'cause I left for the Death Valley at 3am the next morning.
Great news too is that the F1s don't require ET lug nuts.

I laid up 2 layers of 2x2 twill carbon fiber on top of Fiberwerx glass. Now I'm getting sick of it and getting ready to paint the whole truck. I found a metallic, satin black that I really like and already sprayed the driver side doors. I had to do something about that HiLift crease in the driver door that I got that time I blew the steering rack.
You were missed this past weekend brotha!

Yeah, I'll paint it. Back in the day I was an autobody painter for a brief stint. After 2 candies and +/- 6 pearl paint jobs, everything else is fairly easy. Some metallics like blue and silver can still be challenging though.
The last camp spot at the Saleen hot springs sucked balls! Super windy and an obnoxious, early rising, braying burro made for little sleep. But, while packing up a fighter jet came out of the canyon and buzzed us, just a couple hundred feet off the deck. That made up for the wind and burro.

It was cool! We saw 'em dogfighting and they disappeared. Luckily I was looking up the canyon when one came screaming at us 'cause you didn't hear it 'til it was past us.........then you didn't hear very well for a minute. LOL

This stop at Bennett's Long Camp came shortly after one of the group was stopped and reminded of the speed limit. I heard a rumor of some hitting 90 on the dirt just before this stop.:notsure: Nope, wasn't me.Bennets long camp.jpg
3 yrs later and our Bastrds sticker is still at Barker Ranch. Eerie place to spend the night.IMG_0517.jpg

    But our teakettle wasn't there......so disappointing.IMG_0548.jpg
