So I wanted to do my niece a favor after my mom gave her old car to her. Little did I know that it was this bad. I've personally never seen anything like it...didn't have enough time or clay to get past anything but the hood.
Detailed the interior took out some stains etc. Used iron remover, then strip washed it thinking I'd be able to polish her up this evening..joke was on me.

 

Lol... my daughter’s boyfriend offered to detail my old truck last spring for a fixed price. He was earning money to finish building his WRX drift car. I asked, “are you sure?” and he said yeah.

when he brought it back 10 hours later, it was impressive. He said it took him a full clay bar just to do the hood, and four total on the whole truck. I said sorry, but you know I’m not much into washing and waxing and all that...I own trucks to drive through the dirt and haul shit. He said, “yeah, I underestimated that one a bit...”


I gave him double what he quoted to do the job because he’s a good kid, and I couldn’t take advantage of him.

There is no way I'd clay bar an entire vehicle after using the Nanoskin.

My daughter got a used CR-V a few years ago and I wanted to clean it up for her.
