I am getting ready to install multiple LED pods on my 2018 CM but I need to figure if I am going to have an issue with the bumper LED's creating any obstruction to the collision radar sensor in the grill "T" emblem. I am looking at some pods that are 7.6" tall:

After measuring, it looks like I will have about 3/4" of gap between the top of the pods, to the "T" emblem. Those of you whom have experience with this, do you think that I will be in the "clear"?

I have seen some 18's with TSS/Radar installed with bull bars and lights mounted close to it. From some of what I read, the radar signal angle was narrow enough to go between the obstruction. It's going to be a trial and error in my opinion. Do not do anything permanent, if you have to duct tape and zip tie everything first do it.

If you place your lights where their bull bar is at, it will clear the view. anything above that , might have some issues.

    Function before sparkle.
There is no way to guarantee until you try it, but I expect you will be fine. It only needs a few inches around the emblem with the honeycomb grill. The TRD Pro is different though.

The closest I have seen is the ARB bumper (which works fine with the lights shown).

As long as there isn’t anything directly in front of the emblem you shouldn’t have any issues.

I just ordered a bumper and am having the same concerns.

I have the Limited grill, we shall see in about a week. Not my truck in the pic.

I did some measuring, I'll find out, if so, Ill just swap grills and relocate the sensor. CBI, whose truck is in the pic said it did not interfere with the Pro's sensor location.

This is referring to the Pre collision sensor in the front grill of 18+ trucks. You’re thinking of the proximity sensors in the bumpers.

With the limited grill you might be okay. Not with a PRO grill.
