My wife's car has been in the shop for a couple of days (ATF leak) and has been driving my Tundra since I can work from home. Last night she said she might want a Tundra for her next vehicle.

Wife says, she'll drive when i need the designated driver or if we're on the highway. City driving, she will not.

My wife doesn’t like driving mine either. Too big and too hard to park

We were shopping trucks in 2013. Test drove the F150 and the GMC Sierra. We didn’t like how long the Sierra’s hood was and were really leaning towards the F150. I happened to see a Tundra Rock Warrior on display at the local Costco. I liked the looks of it and asked her opinion. She said it was OK and I suspected she had already chosen the Ford. I talked her into a test drive over at the aToyota dealer and they had a 2014 SR5 on the lot. The salesman just threw us the keys and said have a good test drive. She was behind the wheel for 2 minutes and said the Tundra was our truck!

We ended up getting a Limited CrewMax and are now on our 3rd Tundra, worked our way up to the Platinum. She loves driving it and I let her any time she wants. Fair enough as she lets me drive her Subaru Crosstrek when I need to get around in town during the winter. That thing goes like a mountain goat up the snowy hills around here in Duluth.

My Tundra is a base model. My wife does not do base. I do drive her Lexus GX 460 as much as I can. I really like it.

3rd Tundra, wife has driven all of them a total of 2 times, once when I sat on the tailgate when we were picking up a Xmas tree, the other time I don’t remember why. She hates driving it, now she works from home so I drive her car mostly.

The only time my wife drives the tundra is on vacation when I need to have a little relief from driving, I’ve asked her if she wants to take it out but she’s too intimidated by it, “it’s too damn tall” she says, she’s only 5’ 4” unfortunately her Sonata sits outside because both vehicles won’t fit in our garage, I have to do something about that before winter

Sorry to hear that dude. I bought the truck when I was engaged to my wife and we put it in her name because she had better credit and a lower interest rate. Whenever I would misbehave she threatened to take my truck away and it always sent shivers up my spine. never actually thought it could happen...

She almost never drives it in town but she helps me out at the lake by driving about 5 miles to the boat ramp and backs in the trailer like a boss.

She had her own vehicle, but was involved in a crash, she wanted another car, but thought about it for a while, I offered, at first she didn't want to leave me without a new truck, but I get around in my T100, I'm saving my payment money for another Tundra

She drives the family truck whenever, sometimes pulls the trailer to get bigger items. No big deal.

Ha! Same thing happened with my wife. She was asking me why it was that the Tundra cost more when the other trucks have more features. So we went for a test drive.

Right off the bat she was looking around and saying "You know....there's just a 'tighter' feeling about this truck, as if it's built better." (Duh. LOL) We took it through its paces - merging, trying the 4WD in a local field used for exactly that, etc.

Then I realized I'd not had a chance to try out the Tow/Haul button. Literally laid down about 25' of rubber pulling out. She looked at me in amazement and said "...and all you did was press that button? Same amount of throttle?"

Told her "Yep" and she said "I'm sold, let's go negotiate." :D

Today my told me she was grocery shopping and her car was full of stuff for work so she would need to take the Toyota.
Me, knowing the answer: Which one?
    Her: Not the TRUCK!
Between her and my son, I never get to drive my little Camry anymore. :)
