Just bought a 2015 CM and love the truck. However the pervious owner must have REALLY liked the tropical island coconut fragrance. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this odor?

The first owner of my tundra was a smoker. It took me forever to get the smell out but bring it to the dealership and have them out in the ozone machine in there. If that doesn't help, I really liked the meguire's air freshener where you keep it in your running vehicle on recirculating air. Might take a few times though.

    Ozium works

There's also a smoke smell odor remover made by ZEP you can find at Home Depot which works well.

OK, so it's going to sound stupid, but I bought my truck from a heavy smoker. Whole Coffee beans work really well. It will be tough the first few days, but I jsut placed a plastic container of them (open) under the back seat. Dont need a lot. Maybe a cup, or 2. 2 weeks later, I tossed them, and no sign at all of the smoke smell. My dads old buddy was an old upholstery guy, and he would always tell people this trick. Hope it works!

Airbox with K&N Filter, 2" lift on 33's, Alpine iLX-F309 head unit, Pull out bed tool boxes, brown with black trim, rims, etc, black leather interior, matching topper. Muffler delete (too loud..) 62k miles!!!
Don't forget to change the cabin filter...whatever smell is in the interior will have "Stuck" to the filter and it will seem like you can never get rid of it.

I agree with the Ozone. I actually am considering purchasing a machine. It can also be used at home to eliminate mold/mildew smells.
