Just wondering if anyone has the Bilstein 6112&5160 combo with a ARE or Leer cap? Looking to do a 1.9” front and either level or +1/1.5 on rear. I have read pretty much all the threads in regards to the suspension, but I would like to see some actual pictures.
    Thanks in advance!

ARE high top ... soon to be a GoFast XL popup.

Toytec shackles @ 1" + 5160s in the rear. 5100s @ top setting up front ... Soon to be 6112s at #4 setting (sitting in a box in the garage, along with SPC UCAs). 295/60/20 Wild Peaks ... basically 34" tires.

Yeah I already had the cap, my buddy painted it on the weekend.
All parts were put on the same day I got the truck as well.

    Looks sharp.
I just got a ‘21 Platinum and ordered an ARE CX Cap. I like AREs angles. I’m exploring suspension. I want to level, do some off road here and there, and also pull a camper a dozen times a year.

    so many factors.

Did you get the keyless lock? Can you send some pictures of the handle? I sure wish they had the Evolve when I got my Z.

I got the Evolve specifically because the frameless windows don't have a Windoor option, which I think is the best feature (for me) on a topper.

Is that for security reasons I’m assuming?

Just a heads up... On my THIRD back window glass replacement... the glued hinges and glued struts keep delaminating from the glass...tried to get the CX model instead but they wont put the auto lock single handle on it.... don’t know why they don’t just bolt it through like everybody else... not sure this model is gonna last...

I prefer the Windoors for access purposes. They are so useful for us when camping but I imagine the usefulness is transferable to many uses. I assume there is a design difficulty with making these in the frameless window models.

There's not...they use the same pattern. Caps are molded with one window design and they cut it out to fit the windows. They have the ability to put whatever side windows in that you want. They just don't offer full customization. ARE said they'd do it for an upgrade charge on the Z series, just didn't ask how much.
