I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra SR, we changed the carrier bearing on the truck but not the U-Joint. The truck now has a bad vibration when you accelerate. I'm thinking the yoke isn't align right and the U-Joints need to change. Any guidance would be appreciated.

You probably installed it upside down. The mounting flange is offset, so orientation matters. Carrier bearing has a hole in it. If the hole isn't facing down, rotate carrier bearing 180 degrees.

Also, if your truck has a lift you might need a spacer to drop the carrier bearing a little bit if you're still getting shudder on acceleration.

    Thanks for the feedback.

No lift on the truck. Will check the carrier bearing tomorrow to see if I see this hole you speak of lol.

Did you unbolt the drive shaft? I’m not sure as I’ve never changed a carrier bearing. I was just thinking maybe the drive shaft got rotated and it isn’t balanced properly now.

Yes, to remove the carrier bearing the driveshaft was removed.

will try to reinstall the driveshaft again tomorrow. I'll update if we managed to realign the driveshaft.

If it doesn't look like this, it's upside down. It's offset by almost a half inch so if you put it on upside down, it would cause substantial shudder.

    I just wanted to update.

The yoke was turned wrong which caused the vibration. Truck is up and running. Thanks everyone for the help and advice.

I would like to thank you for sharing this information. Just got the drive shaft rebuilt and I was having a crazy shutter under hard acceleration and a vibration under throttle at freeway speeds.
I looked under the truck and I had 2 holes showing. Gave er a spin to having one hole and a faith a arrow showing. No more sever shaft moment , just laying rubber.
I'm going to post a video, It shows the rear pinion going up like bad axle wrap.
