I have spend dozens of hours trying to work out a better setup than they offered. Then thought of all the tuning and ease of install. They did put a lot of time into the step by step. When I almost hit buy it now I went back to ********* and just studied the speakers for another minute and the magnets alone were 3-4 times the size of the ones I was considering. On a budget it’s one thing but this company regardless of their poor customer service reviews made me happy to buy from.

I actually bought my speakers elsewhere; but because of the amp and it being essentially plug and play with all the r&d that has been done, I didn’t think I could get better value at another vendor.

I didn’t want components at first. Always felt that regular coaxial speakers are good enough. I changed my cart to include 4 of their rear speakers then said f-it... For another 100 it’s probably worth it. Especially with the sail panels and ability to again pnp.

My only concern at this point is the Kenwood slim subs. There is room for up to 3-10” subs but would have to be in individual boxes. Not going to get the cu’ for regular subs either but it’s a trade off with the limited space.

The LOC is before the amp. Cant really tell from pic at post #19

Signal out of HU into the LOC
Out of LOC into the AMP (RCA's)

Hi there What are your impressions with this kit? I have Canadian non JBL and looking for sound improvements. Want to retain factory head unit and get more bass with basic kit and install.

I have a ********* going in this weekend. Already installed one in our 4RUNNER as well. I’ve never had an issue with them not replying to a message, yes a couple times it took a few days, but with a small business that is expanding quickly I can understand the wait. Daniel has been beyond amazing and the videos are so helpful. During our install I could text and get a reply within an hour on the weekend!

I have a 2010 Tundra Double Cab. I swapped the head unit and added a JL Audio 500/5 and a JL Audio 10w3v3. I just need to upgrade the oem speakers but with the amp, the stock speakers sound amazing.

Just ordered the Taco Tunes 5-channel amp, PNP wire harnesses, amp power kit and am rack. Will run with shock speakers for now and use Kicker CompRT 10” sub w/ passive radiator.

Has been sitting on a couple of Alpine amps and ordered speakers from crutchfield etc for awhile and planned to do install myself. But after doing some more research, decided the ease of install with the Taco system was the game changer for me.

I’ve seen about 50/50 on the customer service issue. Hopefully I’ll be on the good side of things.

I’ll be posting the Amos for sale in the MarketPlace forum soon.

I have been extremely happy with the ********* amp. I was sold on the fact that it was plug and play. My customer service experience was very positive. They offer nice gear for a good price and ease of install

I’m actually in the middle of doing my audio as well as many other upgrades. I wanted to say that the videos were helpful and the service I got from ********* was good. The only thing I didn’t like and something that almost made me go else where was the install they did on YouTube was a bit sloppy. I know it doesn’t have to be perfect but with the length of wire in the pnp kit you can’t just stick 12” of loom on it and shove the rest under the carpet. I pulled the excess wire back and zip tied it. I couldn’t deal with a rats nest. 2 gauge power going to 4-8gauge power wires. Just one to the taco amp. A few pics of my install. Yes I set up a tent to block rain and the potential for snow. With the other mods I’m on day 3 8FF118FB-6501-4EC4-B96B-6F58C7D414E1.jpg 567B2A8D-CB36-4C35-A7C2-1DCB802DEBCA.jpg

That’s a damn clean install there!

Did you go with the 5-channel amp?
I only see the one amp on there.

    @Cobshop
Never mind. I saw your previous post about going with the 4-channel amp.

Alpine makes a plug and play sub and amp combo. It looks fairly straight forward powering the sub and the component speakers. It’s like $750 though

Thank you sir. Yes on the 4 channel. I’m limited on space so I have 2 self powered Kenwood psw8’s going behind the double cab back seats. Speaker wires for the input, power and remote wire. Also ran an 8 gauge for the wireless one air compressor and another for the HornBlasters train horn setup.

I ran all the wires in this protector sleeve inside and under the truck I ran it again but doubled the protection with wire loom on top of that. In my opinion there isn’t anything worse than worrying about a shotty install.

Tonight I finished the door speaker install and man does it crank. I think there is a slight loss of bass with the image dynamics. Surprisingly enough considering what they replaced. The clarity and power is 10x the factory though. I have to send ********* an email because the driver side tweeter isn’t working.

I purchased a ********* 5ch amp earlier this year which I never ended up using the subwoofer on it. After my other Tundra was totalled I decided to go a different route, so I sold it here a week ago.

I now have the TXD3204v3 (4ch amp), TXD10001 (Sub amp) , JBL Club 9600CAM 6x9 Components for the front, JBL GTO609C 6.5" components for the rear, and 2-12in JBL Club1200 Subwoofers. Everything was plug n play minus the speaker wires. Couldn't be happier with the setup. Shipping was a breeze as theye about 3hrs away from from where I live.

Sound deadening was placed inside the doors and behind the door panels. It definitely makes a difference no loud vibration noises and the doors don't sound like there cheaply made anymore. The only rattling I get now is from the heat shield

sorry to revive an old thread, but @Cobshop, have you been pleased with the psw8s? I have a DC and I've been considering those as a behind-the-seat option, because I need my under-seat storage.
