Cavalry Blue Owners

If you are capable of doing it yourself and a perfectionist, it's always best to handle it in house. If you farm out the work and it's bad you wind up disappointed and whoever did the work gets chewed out for it. If you do it yourself and it's sub par, you can just kick yourself for it and learn, right?

 

Fellow Cav Bluers, I need advice. I’m having Katskin Leather installed this week. The truck has a graphite cloth interior now. Question 1: what color leather would you go with? I’m thinking black, truck currently has blackout and just think it would look good but looking for other opinions. Question 2: what color stitching? Again, graphite interior now. Question 3: this is the hard one. I’m having them put a TRD logo embroidered in the seat. What color would you have it in? The Katzskin Cobalt Blue looks like it may clash with the Cavalry and they don’t have any other blues really. Any thoughts or experience with Katzkins?

 

I’d get black stitching on black leather. TRD logo would be as close to cav blue as possible. If the blue isn’t quite right then red would look fine on the black.

 

This is what im leaning towards too. black leather, black stitch. Red Trd because thats what color TRD stuff is. That's just facts.

Thanks, @AzureNightmare, @dbush and @TrashcanBand, appreciate the help here. I went with black leather, black stitching, and this logo. TRD in Pacific Blue (thanks @ElNopal) and The “Toyota Racing Development” in black, middle of the seat not headrest. Drop it off in a week, will post pics when done. Thanks again.

Awesome. Every time I see a good Katzkin install it pushes me further that direction and makes my priorities with this truck that much more foggy. Good luck!

 

I know this isn’t in your option list but here’s what I did. It’s not for everyone but it’s Katzkin and I love how it turned out.

Yep thats the place! He has a few different designs that are really nice. Last i knew he only made 10 of the trd sport, and was down to the last couple.

Picked this up today. Sold our old pontoon that served us well for many years. I made sure to get one that went well with blue.
