Well I made what could be a big boo-boo today.

Gas station. Watching this dildo try and back a trailer in to fill up his lawnmower. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly distracted while I'm filling up. The pump I'm at specifically didn't auto shut off. I stopped it before too much gas got on the ground, but fuel is all the way up the filler neck to cap. I shook the truck some to slosh some of it out. Didn't get a whole lot out.

    How bad is that?

Hey, has anyone else's door lock thingamajigs yellowed out from red to yellow (not even orange!) like mine?

I don't know why it pisses me off that mine aren't that obnoxious deep red color, but it does. Not enough to spend $40/ea on OEM replacements, but ... meh.

Wish someone sold a pre-cut sticker to peel and stick in this spot.

Mine did the same thing. I just replaced the whole handle because I needed to lube the cables anyway while in the door panel.

Only my passenger side has changed color for some reason. If it bothered me I would use a red sharpie before I bought a new door handle but that's just me.

The only reason I bought new door handles is because they came pre-lubed. Mine had started making a strange "grating/sliding" noise, and no amount of lube helped. I tried that first. The new red stickers was a bonus.

Red sharpie or paint market would fix it up.

Being allergic to soy really sucks. I’m standing at the deli looking at all the food I can’t eat anymore. Salami sopresatta Italian sausages. :(:(:(

I sprayed mine with Acrylic Enamel Lacquer ‘Toyota Barcelona Red’ by Duplicolor. Lost the pics, but I did my faded seat belt buttons too. Looks sharp.

I hear that someone scanned and uploaded the Toyota Service Manual to a google drive? Inquiring minds are wondering how one would acquire access to such a resource? I am looking for the stock part # for the OEM parts that comprise the factory towing package...

Yes, thank you. They have an option that I think will look very close to the beige in my 2002.
I like that there is some padding too as the stock seats dont do much for my bony rear.

edit: actually their site doesnt have a 1st gen tundra option but I swear I saw someone posting in a forum showing a 1st gen outfitted with this option. no katskinz option either...

Still way too hot here in Knoxville. I start sweating within minutes of being outside.

Still not as hot as this though.

I’ll have to bust out the sweat shirts this weekend, it will be in the low 90s, but hopefully an epic monsoon will be happening.

Shitty signal. Still don't know why it posted twice, or at different times? Weird.

Yes. Special indeed. She was already special to me before, and even more special now.

I've got a game plan for a few more maintenance items that are on the list. After that I may start tackling things that have ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS intimidated me.
