Parking sensor different?

Hi folks. I hit a bear on the way home the other night ( the poor bear didn’t fare so well either . Trashed the passenger side of my 2019 Tundra Crewmax TRD off-road. I thought I would take advantage of the accident and replace the chrome bumper end caps with color matched end caps. Body shop says the parking sensor for the cement gray color matched end caps are different from the ones on the chrome end cap. Does that make sense?

 

I know one of our members has a Victory 4x4 bumper and is having a hard time finding a sensor that will fit because he had the chrome caps. His sensor hole is a different shape and size. I'll see if I can find the thread.

You're not alone on the different size sensor bit from what I understand.
