Hi all, I have a few questions I didnt get answered when I paid my deposit towards a 2020 Pro yesterday.

Do the following items come standard with the TRD Pro or do you have to add them?

-All weather TRD Pro floor mats
    -Remote start
-Front and rear TRD sway bars?

    Thank you in advance.

Installing the TRD sway bars on a TRD Pro is a bad idea. They will defeat the purpose of the FOX/TRD Tuned Shocks. Which is exactly why they don't come on the TRD Pro from the factory. Sure they look cool, all red and pretty, but they are the wrong setup for that suspension. Basically they will limit the amount of travel you get from the PRO suspension.

But sway bars do seem to help if you have a heavy load or tow.

YES, but the TRD Pro was not designed with that type of suspension. The TRD sway bars are better suited for Non-TRD Pro trucks.
Those sway bars limit the travel of the TRD Pro suspension, which was designed for high speed desert racing, and off road articulation.

I guess it depends on what the OP is gonna do with the truck. If it’s gonna be a pavement queen then the rear swaybar is a good idea. It helps keep the rear end planted

Towing a travel trailer, YES. But, I tow a 20 FT Bay Boat several times a week with my PRO and have zero issues, smooth, no sway. To me the rear sway bar is a gimmick that destroys your TRD Pro Tuned Suspension. But that's just me. If he wants it just because it looks cool, then go for it.

All true, adding the TDR sway bar in a TRD PRO would make your ride more stiffer and defeat the purpose of having the TRD Pro tuned suspension.

That’s just the reality but OP can do it if he wants it and have the money but I would rather invest in other important parts like shackles.

Sway bar looks cool but not necessary if you have a TRD PRO, OP has the last word in this matter.

Correct....everything comes except the sway bars. the remote start is part of the Toyota App.

I put the rear sway bar on my 2016 and now my 2020 TRD Pro. I LOVE IT. I go up and down the mountains on windy (wind-ee) roads....the sway bar is a must for a lot of pavement driving on twisties. The rear sway bar doesn't alter the feel of fox suspension, it just greatly reduces roll.

Hey, I'm not saying "Don't do it". Was just letting you know the PROS & CONS. Lots of guys run them mainly because they like the way it looks under the truck. But it really does defeat why you buy a TRD PRO in the first place. The ONLY thing I did to my trucks rear end was to go with + 1.5" shackles. The PRO's are way too level as they sit. Put a load in the bed, or tow something and your ass is dragging. The shackles fixed that problem, looks better too.

I was actually going to start new thread asking about lifts too. I wanted to just slightly lift the pro without removing thr TRD skid plate or replacing the fox shocks. Are the shackles easy to install? Im eyeing some 295-70-18 nitto grapplers already. I heard they can fit by removing the small front mud flaps behind the front bumper.

If you can fit those tires on the front by removing those stupid SPATS, go for it. I took them off on Day One. The shackles are really easy to install, even a Caveman could do it. If you are not going to lift the front, only go with + 1.5" shackles. Here are before and after pics of shackles on my truck.

How long did that take you to do? All by yourself? Ive done the rear shackles on my old Durango and it was alright.

Nice. I wonder if the tuff country 2.5" lift would work without having to remove any of the pro parts.

    Are you sure?
Did you try this already? Remote start is standard otherwise it would have been noted in the accessories section on the window sticker-which mine does not.

For the record, if you're replacing the bushings too like with a Coachbuilder shackle, it can be a real pain. Especially if the truck as seen one or more winters.
