I have tried searching for a complete list of parts needed for a lift/level of my new truck but I am having trouble finding one. Out of the experience that you fellas have is there a link or thread that has all of this? I am essentially wanting to level or lift truck a few inches. I am looking at 265 or 285/70r17 tires. Besides the big things like Shocks, springs coils, ball joints, UCA (maybe) am I missing a bunch of items.... Depending on height I'll do diff drop... Etc. I've done quite a bit of research but haven't pulled trigger yet. Any info would be appreciated. I am looking at Bilstein. Toytec and OME. Also located in Norcal if anyone has suggestions for shops. Thanks fellas

To actually level out the truck by lifting the front, all you need is new coilovers.

The rest of your list isn't necessarily required but typically done as preventative maintenance, especially the lower ball joints.

Then what does a leveled truck fit tire size wise?

Depends on a lot of factors but I was able to fit a 285/70/17 without having to trim.

I run this size as well. Depends on rim backspacing...

There isn't a master list. Everyone uses a different "recipe" here, it all depends on what you want out of your truck and how much you want to spend.

I would avoid spacers up front, avoid blocks out back. Pay attention to the condition and angle of your lower/upper ball joints and your CV boots.

Browse around in the first gen builds area and you'll see good info on different approaches to suspension.

Bilstein 6112 fronts assembled from Boss 4x4 and 5160 rear shocks if you want reservoir. Search here for that thread. It’s about 40 pages long and is the tried and true recipe here and I would say the most common also.

As he said, there is no magic recipe or master list of any sort. You just pick the parts you want to go with and forge your own path. Feel free to ask questions though. We have a lot of guys that are really knowledgeable about suspension that helped me a lot.

I would probably avoid replica TRD wheels. Some members found real ones on ebay for decent prices. Since our trucks share a bolt pattern with a ton of other Toyota and Lexus vehicles you can also find some of the nicer OEM wheels for cheap. I see people sell used sets all the time.

    Method wheels are popular.
    SCS wheels are popular.
Stock wheels are always up for sale here as are certain TRD rock warrior wheels or TRD Pro wheels. Search marketplace for those gems.

5 lug doesn't fit his truck.

There is a thread in this section with first gen using wheels from other Toyotas (Tacoma, FJ, 4runner, etc). I would go for used real Toyota wheels over new knockoffs, real ones tend to be forged rather than cast.

I found a set of oem trd pros. They're not easy to find but I think it's worth it if you can find them.Screen Shot 2020-05-31 at 11.53.08 PM.jpg
