Dealer installed TRD dual exhaust system and tonneau cover. Personally installed TRD Pro grille and surround, side mirror caps, and TRD shifter.
Correct! I was told it was doing the TRD Pro grille an injustice.

The CB 1” shim and a 1.5” shackle is what I had originally with 275/70r18s but it didn’t give me the look I wanted. I had the front part of the Pro+2 put on which left the truck to level so I installed a 1” toytec block. With every thing done the truck still rides the same. Now I fit 305/70r18s with no frame rub. Hope this helps

The dealership I go to has never had any issues doing warranty / recall work on my truck. But I know some dealerships push back because of a lift, different wheels / tires, and grille for the TSS stuff. The dealership I use puts the old style pro grille and 6 inch lifts on new trucks before they sell them.

    Cool.
    Thanks.

Were you able to just buy the front portion of that kit? Or did you have to spend the $1k for the whole kit? I was thinking of doing just the front as well to raise it up just a bit because of the weight of my C4 bumper and Warn winch.

I bought the whole kit off Amazon for $844. The only part of the kit I did not use were the 2” blocks w/ u-bolts, which need a good home.

No way! You’re just trying to frame the TRD Pro coolness in glorious shiny chrome.

Oh, and post pics of your grille. I’ve been thinking of swapping out my SR5 grille for the TRD Pro one, but I understand they don’t have the surround in silver sky. Mine is still chrome. Would like to see more like that to get an idea, that is if you still have the chrome surround.

Thanks. That doesn’t look bad at all. Not sure why the reddit folks were so critical.

Because it's Reddit. Bunch of douchebags on there. On here, we could care less, it's your truck, make it look how you want, it's your money and nobody's opinion matters, except yours.

I consider the pro grill for a long time, with chrome surround. Ended up going with a black honeycomb grill with chrome surround.

When I was looking for a tundra it had to be with the honeycomb grill....I think it looks great on our trucks!

Put my swing cases in. Topper is more or less 7 to 8 weeks out due to this crapola so in the mean time gonna put the other stuff in. Scored a sweet deal on the Toyota Bed rail system should be here tomorrow. Ordered a Bedrug with the topper so that will be nice as well.

That looks good, too. I admit I'm not at all familiar with reddit, but I'm glad to see all the varied and different exterior looks on here without being too critical.

See, I knew it! There are many ways to approach the desired, favorable end result! The suggestion of running the fuse tap to the OEM switch (hate to admit it) did not even cross my mind! That is why I would say it is experience and not just an age thing. Thanks for the extra help Ron (aka Sage Ron).

Yeah Reddit is a freaking cesspool. I used to lurk on there constantly, as at one point a few years ago there was some decent content. Nowadays it's a giant circlejerk of basement-dwelling neckbeards. The comments section is unreal. I took a long break from it, came back for a bit, then left for the same reasons as before. The Tundra subreddit didn't have a lot of activity, either. Plus, the people and mods on this forum are a much better group, with actual helpful responses instead of flaming and insults.
