Installed a new tonneau tarp yesterday. Extang Revolution. Nice to find replacement parts instead of buying a whole new unit.:yes:D9E959F7-3F07-4D33-B2A4-C94CD7631A2B.jpg

Well I guess I’ve been doing too much other fun stuff to remember to check my cabin filter. Yuck! This explains my low blow in the truck . I cleaned it best I could for now- which will be miles better I’m sure. What’s everyone else using? I want a washable one.

Installed my Du-Ha underseat storage, cleaned up some of the random crap in the cab, took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. Depending on what they say, I may be having to buy a new battery today too.

I bought it off Alibaba. @danmandle has a link on page 231 post #6909. He has a pic of it on his Sequoia too on post # 6903. The grill is for the Sequoia’s but the gap On the bottom doesn’t bother me much. I just remounted the bottom bracket so it’s black and less noticeable.

Thanks! Install wasn’t to bad. Bottom mounting bracket only lines up where the 2 10mm bolts are on each side. But if you position overlapping the bracket and bottom of the grill it should be fine. Only issue was the alignment of the hood latch release, it’s flimsy but I ended up using zip ties to the bottom bracket in order for it to stay still.

I installed a new 32" helmholtz resonator on my tail pipe this morning, I will be evaluating this new item for the next few days. It replaced the 26" resonator that was included with my BAMuffler cat-back, Keith is making the 32" version available to customers like myself that had to shorten their tail pipes... my tail pipe is 24" shorter than stock.

I lowered the bed on my 2007 3.25" by hanging the leaf packs under the axle, the factory tail pipe will not clear the leaf packs in this position so I cut it at an angle right after the last hanger and right before it makes it's turn out to the side.

Looks like my truck’s getting new tie rods and an AGM Interstate battery on Friday, and will likely get new brakes in a few weeks. I noticed the steering wheel felt a little “loose,” but tires are wearing evenly so I didn’t think much of it. Oil got changed and tires rotated today.

The seat belt adjustment handle has come loose. Has anyone here had issues with this, and how to repair?

I am not as confident working on 2nd gen as I am 1st gen.

How did you get this to work with your floor liners? Doesn't look like you cut anything. Does it just rest on top?

He has a double cab. The second gen (‘07-‘13) double cabs have flip up seats and all second gen CrewMax have the sliding, reclining, fold down rear seats. The 3rd gen (‘14-‘20) CrewMax switched to flip up rear seats.

Du-Ha differentiates between it having or not having a stock sub under the rear seat for DCs. They make a version for both scenarios. And yeah, I just have flip up seats. If I had a CM I’d of likely gotten under seat storage that had a lid on it.

I just put it over top of the Weathertech mats. I didn’t have to press down on them or anything, I think the mats come under the storage by a few inches at max.
