Offset rims with lift in the rear w/275-65-18 10s
I have a 2011 crewmax trd and I want to put a lift on. I have offset 18" rims on it now. Rubber sticks out about 4" from body. How high can I go without having to monkey with the steering, drive shaft and rear end? If you have part numbers for the kit that would be awesome too.
    Thanks
Oh and what size tires will fit to make it look great?

Too many options and variables. What size tires are you wanting to run to start with?

Seems like your offset is very negative if the rubber is sticking out 4" from the body. This will probably mean that you will need to cut more material to make the wheels fit (and not rub while turning).

What are you planning to do with the truck? Will you be taking it off road at all? Are you concerned with preserving OEM ride quality, or are you just looking for something that looks good?

In general, you can get away with strut spacers for the front suspension for any lift height less than 2.5". If you are going over 2.5", you'll also need to upgrade your upper control arms and add a differential drop, which will increase costs. Note the difference between the ReadyLift 3" SST kit and the ReadyLift 4" SST kit. The rear lift components will generally be the same (block, or shackle, or leaf pack replacement).

Any lift kit over 4" will generally require some cutting and adding a drop bracket to the front suspension components. The rear end will generally only need some specific parts and some brake line extension brackets.

What size tires are you running or planning on running?

I always advocate for a 3/1 lift. Looks good, allows for 35" tires, doesnt require cutting frame members, stable, safe, and ride with the right components.

If you run super pos offset right? Pretty sure I would be rubbing with 35s on a 3/1 with -24 os

I have not gone that far out with tires to know honestly. I have had my 35s with +25mm and +18mm.

Yeah I figured. Positive offset with the right amount of back spacing makes a huge difference

I have fairly wide tires is why the previous owner put these type of rims on. Won't be off roading like jumping sand dunes and stuff butvifbibhad to cross a sloppy wet muddy field, I would like that option lol.
