Yes in the very right hand corner I do. The first contractor seemed to think it was just the 2x10 though. The 2x10 is mainly cosmetic and not load bearing right?

    Built these:

Backstory: Our house is a one-level with a basement; and the ground level drops from front to back. As such, we have an exit from our basement to what we call the "Outback." (Basically was a 3-sided shed.) I finally got it enclosed a few weeks ago; and then *bam* COVID-19. Prior to getting it enclosed, it was a catch-all for all sorts of crap. Now, I use it for what I'll call 'essentials' (e.g., toolbox for house, lawnmower, and other stuff). Woodworking and weightlifting occur in the actual shed I have (30' x 20' x 10.5' high)

First pic: The workbench top was already built (a buddy gave it to me, and I never had a use for it till now); so I just added legs and the bottom frame. Will cut plywood/particle board to add to the bottom after I get off work today.

Second pic: I had a shelf that was built by same buddy above; I use(d) it for lawnmower/automotive fluids, bungee cords, plumbing supplies, etc. The space has one of those concrete walls, *and* the floor there isn't all that level, so I had to figure a way to secure it to the wall. This is what I came up with.

Made a 12' bar top/ console table for our media room. Welded steel frame, ground all welds flush as cleanly as I could. Solid red oak top with 1/2" NPT railing. Yes, the pipe flanges are actually screwed to the table with FHCS and I was able to tap the oak to hold the 1/4-20 thread. (Screws not shown) The machine threads in the wood are stronger that I thought they would be!

Needed another little place on the side of the house for some stuff. So I threw this together. Just wanted the stuff outta the snow and rain really. Will probably paint the side to match the house eventually but it’s hidden from street view so I don’t know.

also debating on buying a prefab sand box or building one. The kits seem a bit small as they are about 4x4 or 6.5 round.42885456-8966-40B7-BE8E-28C9240B2DEE.jpg

No welding required if you go this route. These are the tables at a local restaurant. 1.5" black pipe.

Thanks! Getting the weld to be completely flat wasn't bad at all. The blending took some finesse though so I don't gouge the material and have a wavy look on the corners.

Get a small one with a lid, thats a lot of sand to fill the dimensions you drew! It would be one big neighborhood litter box

Yearly power wash of the deck. These disks make it easy and pretty quick. A gas unit and bigger disk would be nice but this works.
Next I'll get a deck cleaner then wood conditioner. I have used the brand Restore-a-Deck in the past and probably will again.

I will then put down a new coat of Armstrong Clark oil based stain. So far I can recommend that brand for New England area. It's been 3 years and its doing its job.

Sitework around my garage project is coming along well. My stucco & paint are all done. All my insulated garage doors were installed and completed today. My electricians got all my lights installed and are finishing installing all the outlets and switches today. The four large garage doors are all 12’ wide by 14’ tall. Perfect if you need to park an RV or large trailer inside. I should have most of the work completed in the next week or two. 3DCF2F76-5345-4067-9A9D-747F5685C92E.jpg

We have a glass top stove so they don't look good and are a pain to keep looking new. So they're used to keep it hidden and we just place it on the counter when we are using the stove.
