I totally agree with everyone else and what you use your truck for.

I went with the 3" lift, Coachbuilders shims, +3 Shackles, AAL, Airbags and 35" Toyo R/Ts.

As always, Good looking Rigs on this site!

IMO, a 3/2 (which is what I have) looks like the truck should from the factory—it looks roughly equivalent to a modern, stock 3/4 or 1 ton truck in ride height. A 6” lift looks like a lifted truck. Which are you going for?

I went 3/2 so I could fit in parking garages, and to retain a good mix of function versus additional wear/strain on drivetrain and suspension components.

I have a 3/1.5 now and looking on doing the 4" PROCOMP or the 4.5" BDS in the next couple of weeks with larger tires. Leaning more toward the 4" PROCOMP though

I know its only inch but there is a difference

Sure... Wheels are Raceline Shift, 18x9 with +18 offset... Tires are 35x12.5x18 ProComp AT's.

Still have some adjusting to do after installing the Fox 2.5 coilover's... was expecting them to settle 3/4 to 1" and they only settled about a quarter inch in 2,000 miles. Probably due to the beefier rear leaf pack installed at the same time. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Love the look of your truck! I personally am stuck between the 4.5in lift or the 6in lift. Is there a big difference in the turning radius? What I love over the 14' silverado I had was how tight the tundra turns. Also, mine is a daily driver (only vehicle) and Im concerned that 6in could get old quickly the up and down. What are your thoughts?

Thank you for the compliment :)
I am not familiar with the difference between the 4.5” and 6” lift, but I can tell you that with the 6” lift, 35s, and no modifications to the body or wheel wells, it does rub slightly when you cut the wheel all the way left or all the way right for those tight U-turns. Gary, my truck, is not my daily (I have a work vehicle) ...so I’m probably not the best person to ask about the “up and down”.....I only drive Gary on the weekends, I have no problem getting in or out.....I’m 5’6”, 48 yrs old, and female.....and i can’t complain......yet ;)
Maybe someone else can chime in on thoughts on the 4.5” ;)

Thanks for the response. I am the same height 5'6'' and I had the Bilsteins 5100 installed in the front so I could put on Fuels and Ridge Grapplers. With that it raised it a little bit. But now I have the itch to go a little bit higher, and I've never owned a lifted truck, I have only ever leveled them. I want mine to be practical but look awesome at the same time.

    Hello Melissa,

I believe my truck has been accused of not being practical. Lol
But, I love the look of it and to me it is absolutely practical. ;)

    :)
This is only the 2nd lifted truck I have ever owned. (I used to have a 2001 Suburban with a 6” FabTech suspension lift, 35” Terra Grapplers on 18” wheels) I loved the look and practicality of that one too. ;)
In my opinion, lifted trucks (nothing ridiculous) look tough. I have always been partial to lifted trucks 6” or more. But, it is definitely going to depend on how you plan on using it.
Post some after pics if you decide to lift it. Girls in big trucks are awesome! :D

I second this.... there is a natural appeal to a lady in a lifted truck..... takes them up the hotness scene by at least a point or two!
