Would those of you that tow consider Power Stop drilled & slotted rotors using OEM Toyota pads & hardware an upgrade?

I am looking for improved braking performance for my 2007 without spending a lot of money, and please note that I do not tow or haul weight with this truck.

    Thanks.

I bought the power stop z36 truck and tow brake kit from auto anything and I couldn’t be happier. Definite improvement over stock, especially running my 35s. I don’t tow or haul much but it’s a great improvement over stock brake setup even for daily driving.

I had power stop front z36 pads and rotors. After going down the hills of West Virginia i went past my turn trying to stop. The brakes had less then three thousand miles on them and i don't tow or haul heavy loads. After that happened i put EBC Extra duty pads and they work great, although they are a little dusty.

How is the noise over stock on this kit? I've had drilled/slotted rotors on a BMW that drove me INSANE with noise is why I'm asking.

I have no noise issues at all. Quite the opposite actually, truck drives/brakes way more quietly and smoothly. I couldn’t be happier. That being said, next time I do pads I’m going to go with EBC just for extra stopping power and extended life.

    Alot of them
Look at StopTech slotted rotors. I had PowerStop slotted and drilled and they had bad heat marks and alot of vibration issues.
