Yep I’m pretty excited. This one is a 6.9 IDI diesel (YES) with a 4-speed t19 manual. Only 2wd, so I’m debating doing a 4x4 swap in the future. 99,000 original miles, and pretty much everything works!

Not sure why the kid can't adjust the ugly net to fit right or why he ditched the flawless tailgate it used to have.

Son of a bitch. I hopped out of my truck after work and noticed the side of my driver seat is tearing. Now I either need to spring for seat covers or Katzkin. I'd love the leather but I don't think it's in the budget. Any suggestions on high quality, custom fit seat covers that will fit the armrest as well and not look like a sack was draped over the seat?

How bad is the tear? Can it be sewn together? Sometimes that will get you some more miles.

It's not bad just yet. It could probably be sewn if I could find somewhere to do it. The seat is showing wear in other spots too though, just a matter of time before it's torn in other spots.

My CoverKing Neosupreme covers came in and they seem really nice. I hope they fit well. I had similar covers for my Nissan Frontier a while back and those fit real well and were comfy.

Its not that bad. Its that I'm working 60+ hour weeks, working on online schooling and still trying to keep my household running while The Woman is also in school.

I know that feeling. I'm doing 9 hours this semester and working about 50 a week. With 3 old ass vehicles that need more attention than I can give. Not to mention money...

Made the trip successfully to pick up the muffler. Thing is brand new! No carbon inside the pipes. Been in storage for 15 years. I'll post pics later.

Yes. Thank you for asking. As you may recall, I took the drums off yesterday for inspection and made sure everything was in working order. Put the drums back on and LIGHTLY did the e-brake reset adjust at the pedal. I think back last month, I jammed the e-brake pedal too hard and because everything was new and lubed it over set itself? Who knows.

Today, I pulled over a few times to check for heat and there was none. She ran flawlessly as usual. Yesterday you could have cooked an egg on the pass side drum.

Any replacement options for this muffler gasket (17420X) in the pic? Something readily available at auto store? Trying to avoid special order. Willing to fab one up if need be.

You might be able to fill the gap with some sort of exhaust cement and then clamp it up, but it’s a really cheap gasket, this is what I used:

Can't really tell in the pics you posted in other thread after painting exhaust but does your end bevel like the one Sue is putting on at 1A Auto ?

Hurts that my favorite beer when I indulge is associated with such a deadly beast but hope all are being as cautious as one can be with this Corona Virus.

I wonder if I’ll be able to reuse that gasket if I am careful? Won’t know until I get into it so might be risky! Think I’ll give it a go tomorrow.
