I wonder how hot it gets in there? Definitely something to think about in Texas. I'm on the fence too, about to order a Z in Cavalry Blue. I saw a pic of one the other day and now I'm kind of thinking it's just too much in-your-face blue.

Not any hotter than any other canopy. The front window does fold down or slide, and the sides open up.

This looks awesome! Was just looking at these online. Nice to see one on a truck locally. Looks like you've had it for a year. Any issues at all? Regrets or things you'd do differently next time? Just priced one out at close to $6k with all the bells and whistles....ouch!

Admittedly that's fully loaded. OTR coating, carpet lined, led lighting, roof basket and keyless entry. They're pretty sweet, but they aren't cheap! Plus I imagine we also pay at least 30% more in Canada. I probably need to lower my expectations...or get a third job ;-)

The 6k is painful for sure but honestly it is the look I wanted. I could have gotten any other cap and it wouldn't have been the same. Not that I don't like other set ups, but this one is mine and exactly what I had in mind.

The only thing I would have done from the get go, and would do with any future truck purchase, is to spray the top of the bed of the truck where the canopy overhangs a bit. Line-x or something. When I go to take the canopy off, I will have about a 1/2" sprayed beyond the top plastic rail piece that is already in place (on top of the paint). There are issues with line-x on the body and most places won't do it but there are a few shops around that will. There is ajust a bit of rubbing in certain spots that I can see without the top being off the truck yet. I want to get a diamondback as well so having it sprayed should help in both situations.
