    Good Morning,

I started my truck thismorning, Noticed a squeeky squeal type noise. Started looking at the belts and pullies under the hood. Noticed the AC compressor is stuck not turning so the belts squealing as it's trying to turn the pulley .. I assume this means the compressors done for? Can't understand why this would be at only 60K on the clock.. This happen to anyone else . Any advice? Anyone replace one?.. this blows ...

If you're lucky it's external. Maybe the clutch broke. When my Tacoma's went out the rubber ring had separated from the hub, so when the clutch would engage the ring would squeal. Sounded like a squealing belt, and since it wasn't turning the rest it looked stuck.

If you're unlucky and the insides of the compressor went boom boom then it's not good. Typically a grenaded compressor blows debris throughout the system
