Hmmm.... you definitely want to figure out your budget first then, before you start looking. Leveling kits start with a few hundred and can go up to a few thousand. Big difference from the cheap, bottom of the barrel spacer to coilovers

You would be better off to spend the money on a full coilover up front with shackles or block in rear. I jumped the gun and got spacers, then upgraded to 6112's/5100's. I'm not saying the spacers were bad, but the ride quality is night and day. If you do do a spacer lift, go with a billet aluminum vs mild steel.

 

I cast my vote on doing it right the first time and don’t use spacers

yea bro, I was just trying to inject some humor..The spacer thing usually goes south for alot of people but yet there are thousands in use..

I agree with Andy, you might as well upgrade your shock. It might be shot already.

 

All depends on how you use your truck. What is best for someone else may not be the best option for you. Take your time and research.

I went with a Old Man Emu 612 with toytec adjustable shackles set at 1" for a very slight rake. Don't really notice it. Got about 2.5 inches of lift.

Right at $1000, well within budget.

 

That would be an easy way to retain factory ride (vs. preloading 5100's), but if that thing were to ever shear in half you would be in trouble, too bad more companies don't make solid billet ones in combination with longer studs.
