The Woman is on my case to swap the headlight bulbs in her Corolla S to LED as well as her interior lights. She's all jealous of the great lighting in my Tundra. :D

"Mildly irritated wife, amusing life" is my creed. Much more entertaining this way.

On a chart I saw, it says that the dome and map are both 3175 but for led they are 30mm and 36mm?

Flathead will definitely do that job but I have a plastic pry tool for interior trim that I've used.

For the dome lights, one was longer than the other in my truck but the same size led worked in both.

Alright, what am I doing wrong? I can’t get the spring compressors off. I’m only on the middle setting because otherwise it flat out won’t work!

these are 14” 650lb springs made by eibach. Something has to be wrong. Stock springs are 14” too. What the heck?!

Agreed. Don’t have a better option though. Any idea why these things need to be compressed so much? I mean, they physically won’t compress enough to get on the highest setting.

It’s not very slight in person. It’s actually on the shock housing on the one side.

    nope, I have the Eibachs.

here’s what they look like, and my stock Bilstein TRD shocks. (Yes the have a spacer. It’s from the PO)

    D60201AB-BCB0-4A2E-92B6-EA47E17158C4.jpg 8CD1A81F-9331-4463-B95A-72322CACFDAA.jpg

my theory is that these are not the correct springs for the mounts. The issue is, there are no other Springs that wheelers sold that are any different, and they offer assembly services for 5100s.

for the most part she’s done! Besides some gusseting and wing supports(which I’m no math wizard, so that should be fun!)
@Professional Hand Model, notice the unhandled glove supporting my work while I weld; I’m not very good about protecting my left hand after I lost all hope of being a left handed or ambi-handed model about 13 years ago.....
I was a young buck, cleaning a little sneazers “dough sheeter”(look it up you will have hand model nightmares) and my hand got sucked in......luckily my knuckles made the belt driven gear box skip the belt enough times for me to shut it off before I could turn it off manually(had safeties bypassed to clean). My right hand is a gem though!!
