What have you done to your 2nd gen Tundra today?

Put on the new soft topper.
Just in time for the trip to the beach this weekend with our three pups in tow.

 

And a cold beer!

 

so much better. that was the first thing I did on mine. Swapped for RW painted grille.

 

I took off the front door handles and painted them to match and also painted the new rear bumper and put that on advantages of owning my own auto body shop
Think I'm just about done with the outside really thinking about that RK sport ram Air hood
Gotta start on the inside updates now stereo speaker and new seat covers. Maybe a custom leather set

 

Filling mine with sand from driving on a beautiful beach. We even rescued a neon that got buried.

 

Installed the pop & lock tailgate solenoid.
Cleaned the corrosion off my battery.
Vacuumed the back and put my new Husky mat in.

 

Put on my SDHQ A-Pillar and Chase mounts along with the KC Flex pods.

 

Took advantage of a day off and bluebird skies to get some cool pics with Mt. Hood in the background! (Oregon)

Thanks. They were this way when I bought the truck. The previous owner had them powder coated.

 

I'm in the Clackamas area. Love the east side of Portland, Mt. Hood area!!

All I know is I like it!

 

Changed my serpentine belt. The cold weather was making it squeal worse than WikiLeaks.

Edit: Belt cost me $53, dealership quoted me $200 ($150 for parts). And the same brand came off as the one I bought (Dayco).

got the Beast waxed at the local detailing shop. Black looks the best when detailed.

 

installed my new 1900 black California plates...looks dope on black

 

Meh, washed my Tundra and drove to work. Also, ordered a new latch/lock for my Leer camper shell.

 

Finally got the weathertechs in. Xmas present from my wife. She ordered the wrong ones by mistake so I had to wait a bit.

 

Next time around Nor7, check out the Goodyear Gator Back belt. Got a bunch of great reviews. I have one and no complaints whatsoever. Just for future reference.

 

Ordered my TRD sway bar should be here tomorrow $215 from my local dealer seemed like a pretty good price

 

Hell yeah it is. The best deal I could find was $240 shipped from FL to CA.

I really need some help on picking out a new bumper! Couple pics of the deer damage and one of the truck. I like both the plate and prerunner just not sure what will look best. HELP!!

 

I have an ARB plate bumper on my Tacoma (Tundra is still stock up front) AND I tested it on a deer last year with the expected results of no truck damage.
Personally, I'm sold on ARB since they are designed for hitting kangaroos in Australia which are pretty close in size to our white tail deer.
Good luck! What ever you choose will be more durable against a deer than a stock bumper - but you already know that!
