Good morning, who else has radio problems? I have a 2007 Tundra awesome truck. It's the 4.7L V8 but it has the 4:11 rearend, pulls like a champ. But about the radio, when you hit any button or try to adjust the volume the display spazzes out, sometimes you can take off the positive wire on the battery and it will correct everything but this time it did not, and some other research I found out that if you disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and pump the brakes 10 times to drain the electrical system we hook the battery and so far everything works. Anybody else had any of these problems four different solutions?

I had a similar issue in my old Taco. It was a small ass wire in the back of the radio that had a poor connection and caused the display to disappear. Took the dealership days to figure out what the issue was. I don't recall the name or where the connection was, sorry.

As of December 2019 I spoke to Toyota Motor Corp who has admitted that they have not kept up with the latest technology on the phone updates which means until they do we will continue to cut out have a black screen and not be able to use Bluetooth. I asked if they are going to contact Toyota owners and there is no estimated time. I also asked if this applies to the new cars and the answer was again yes. My response was that we spend a lot of money for their product and that they also need to recognize the safety issue.
